Specifically, from January to October this year, the total sales volume of hydrogen energy vehicles in various countries in the world was 16195, an increase of 1316 (8.8) over the same period last year. Among them, Hyundai's hydrogen SUV "NEXO" sold 9591 units, with a market share of 59.2 per cent, far exceeding Toyota's "MIRAI" (2897 units, 17.9 per cent) in second place. This was followed by Honda's "CLARITY" selling 209 units and China's SAIC Chase's "EUNIQ 7" selling 198 units.
It is worth mentioning that Hyundai Motor has obtained a new energy vehicle (NEV) license issued by the Beijing Transportation Department with the Chinese version of NEXO, which can exert excellent battery performance in low temperature environments. Hyundai Motor will consider launching the Chinese version of hydrogen heavy truck "XCIENT" in combination with NEXO's response in the Chinese market ".
